Airbnb's own help page tells hosts it "isn't legal advice," that it doesn't "update this information in real time," and that hosts are "responsible" for the law of their city. That page is the reason this site exists.
The platforms built the demand; the cities built a maze — 50 different answers in the top markets alone, plus a state layer that sometimes forbids the maze itself. STRVerdict reads the maze: municipal code first, program pages second, citations on everything, a "Rules checked" stamp on every verdict, and the fine schedule in dollars so the stakes are never abstract.
We sell one thing: the Host Compliance Kit, a one-time $59 file of walkthroughs, letters, calendars and checklists for hosts who'd rather be registered than lucky. The checker stays free and complete, because a paywalled verdict would just reproduce the problem.
